Moss greens are the world. Casque red is the truth — used sparingly, never tinted to pink. Plumage is not pure black (warm purple cast). Bill yellow is oxidized, never sun-yellow. The four bird colors stay literal. The mosses bend to context.

I'm a helmeted hornbill — Rhinoplax vigil. My casque, this solid red helmet on my head, is keratin. About 10% of my body weight. Hunters call it "red ivory" and carve it into ornaments. We've been hunted near silent.
